When our company came into existence we had one goal in mind and it continues to be our goal to this day. Our goal as a company is to provide unparalleled high value service in the transportation industry. In doing this we know that we can only provide the best service if we have the best Drivers, the best equipment, and the best technology. Over the years we’ve consistently kept our fleet updated with the very latest Freightliner and Mack tractors. We understand that the most important piece of this puzzle however is our people! We’ve developed an experienced operations staff with several decades of experience, back office support, and most importantly safe, professional drivers! Here at FFX we realize the true heart and soul of our company is within our professional workforce that services our customers at a level they cannot find anywhere else!
The history of FFX starts long before its existence. At his very core Jeffrey C. Alesantrino (Owner) understood what it takes to build a trucking company. He knew that hiring the best drivers is the only way to be successful. The driver is the most valuable resource in any trucking company. The driver is the foundation of FFX. Having himself been a driver for many years, he gained knowledge and a passion for the industry that eventually began a vision. A simple vision where the customers used FFX because we offered the best service by providing the best drivers, the best trucks and the best trailers.
“Where working for a company was a badge of honor to take pride in!”
In order to undertake this venture, FFX started small within the local economy of Western Pennsylvania, to fill a need in the expedited freight market. Eventually the company grew, and as it grew, the vision for FFX began to come to fruition. Fast forward several years and the transition to a full service asset based premium truckload dry van fleet was complete, and FFX took off! Customers around the area quickly appreciated the level of service our team provided, allowing the company to create a stable foundation of customers. FFX continued down this road and built a strong presence within freight lanes in the north east of the country, and allowed the company to open operations at a larger terminal in Windber, Pennsylvania during the summer of 2012. Since the company has expanded its fleet size, expanded its service offerings to include services such as short term warehousing, grown its customer base, cultivated a private on-site maintenance staff, and most importantly – continued to let the same values that made the company what it is, move it forward to where it is now, and where it will be tomorrow.
